Export Sales Manager – Oil & Gas 

Brief Description

The Company requires a high calibre Sales Manager with knowledge of the international Oil & Gas market to lead our sales effort outside of the UK.

 

We have a number of opportunities in various stages of the sales cycle throughout the world and the successful applicant would need to take these on and also develop new opportunities for our proven product range.

Required Experience

·      Excellent understanding the offshore oil & gas market

·      Proven bid management leadership, experience and expertise.

·      Excellent communicator. Able to prepare and deliver professional presentations.

·      A self starter who can operate alone in the export market

·      Excellent team player with a positive “can do” attitude. Able to build trust with customers and to manage internal resources to ensure bids, proposals are submitted on time to a high standard.

·      Excellent planning skills, commercially/financially aware.

·      Results orientated, capable of managing multiple opportunities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
 

Required Education

·      Degree or equivalent in relevant subject (e.g. Electronics, Engineering, Business Studies) or relevant experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Provide full oversight of all export oil & gas opportunities running within the Business.

·      Support the further development and growth of the Business by fully supporting the Strategic Planning process

·      Take responsibility for the assigned opportunities from all aspects and to deliver the Company’s promises both externally and internally.

·      Control the winning of the opportunity in accordance with Company Operating Standards

·      Liaise with project customers, sub-contractors and represent the Company at meetings (internal and external meetings) and to provide minutes or visit reports as required.

·      Support and manage the preparation of bids as required covering the generation of technical proposals and of cost estimates within the required and often short timescales.
