  • Small Target Detection
  • Marine Interdiction Operations
  • Sensor Integration and Correlation
  • Border Surveillance and Protection

UESML’s systems defence capabilities consists of Command and Control / Tactical Information display systems, RF/GSM/Iridium transponders and tracking devices, as well as radar interface, signal processing, automatic tracking and data fusion hardware and software.

Our powerful C2DB software comprises a Command and Control suite, and due to its modular architecture can be configured to manage a variety of sensors including radar, sonar, AIS, EO, IR, and GPS. Its highly developed GIS engine produces a responsive graphical view of any area, along with sensor tracks overlaid for precise location of all targets, assets and third parties within range. The system includes a sophisticated graphical mission planning toolkit allowing users to input and transmit routes, protected points, boundaries, areas of danger as well as set audible and visual alarms by user defined parameters.

Our radar processing and tracking system can be integrated to work with any radar system, and can be configured to optimize particular manufacturer’s radar; enhancing radar signal and conditioning video. This hardware and software based radar processing system has already been successfully delivered to the UK Royal Navy for the Type 45 Destroyer programme, and elsewhere on networks of up to forty-nine radars.

Our SID (SML IDentification) transponders provide a wireless data-link capable of transmitting application and positional data while handling strong encryption. We have recently produced a more advanced, and reduced size SID, available with additional GSM card and Iridium 9601 Short Burst Data (SBD) Modem for OTH (Over-The-Horizon) operations. The SID can interface with any PC, Laptop, Tablet, or PDA providing a wireless communications link and can be supplied with NMEA, Serial, USB, or Bluetooth interfaces. The SID transponders have recently been used with C2DB for classified asset tracking operations.

Special collaboration and configuration of our technologies allow us to offer a bespoke range of defence applications in the fields of command and control systems, tactical information systems, homeland security, radar surveillance, and asset-tracking.
