At UESML head office in Southampton we have a software department that is dedicated to the continuous development of our niche software portfolio. The team has retained all of the key members since SML's inception in 1995 and has grown significantly since then. The inherent capability of this team, coupled with the fact that we own the kernel (software engine) for the display of electronic charts and mapping, gives us complete control to make changes in-house and within a timeframe unmatched by many of our competitors.
